The first season of "Murder, She Wrote" was so much spectacular and extravagant that within short time it had a large number of admirers almost 17.06 million of people were totally became addict of this serial. "The Murder of Sherlock Holmes" was its first episode. The story line of that mystery novel was, publisher invites Jessica to his mansion and both of them fall in love with each other. The most thrilling part in that episode was the murder of a guest who was dressed in costume of Sherlock Holmes this episode was released on September 30, 1984.

"Deadly Lady" was the name of its second episode and it was released after a month on October 7, 1984. The exciting part in that episode was the death of a man passing by Jessica's home and seems to be dead due to a hurricane. Similarly, in third episode named as "Birds of Feather" carburets vendor was murdered and Fiancé of Jessica's nephew was arrested for this crime.

In "Hooray for Homicide" the fourth episode Jessica went to Los Angeles to stop making movie of her novel but she found that producer dead and the cast of the movie was blamed for the murder by her.

"It's a Dog Life" the fifth episode; police charges a legatee to a person's state (found dead) as their initial investigation.

Jessica pulls together all the clues in sixth episode "Lovers and Other Killers" to prove her secretary innocent who was blamed for assassinating her girl friend.

"Hit, Run and Homicide" the seventh episode; a rich business man got hit by a car Jessica's neighbor was blamed for that incident.

"We are off to kill the wizard" the eighth episode a park possessor was assassinated and the important thing was, he appointed Jessica to design his house. Similarly, in "Death takes a curtain call" the ninth episode; a man was found dead offstage during the performance of a ballet.

The first season of "Murder, She Wrote" the story mostly gathers around the death of different people strangely. Many of them were assassinated and some of them were endangered. The Murder She Wrote Cast made a great effort to make it a huge success.
